WHEN
it comes to partnerships in the modern era of V8 Supercar
racing, then few have been more successful than the pairing of
Bosch and Stone Brothers Racing.
In the past four years the relationship has yielded
three V8 Supercar titles and Rookie of the year.
In 2007 Russell Ingall lines up in the Bosch-backed Caltex Ford
while his young team mate James Courtney will battle it
out in the
Jeld-Wen Falcon which will both carry Bosch Spark Plug signage
blazoned across its front bumper.
SBR will not only use off-the-shelf Spark Plugs and Wiper
Blades, but will also make use of Bosch Fuel Injectors,
Alternators and a range of vital Sensors.
“There is no doubt that Bosch is market leader in so many
fields and we are delighted to have them as a continuing
partner at Stone Brothers Racing,” said Ross Stone.
“Bosch is adamant about us using off-the-shelf products like
their spark plugs and wiper blades and they are yet to let us
down".
“With three V8 Supercar championships iin the last four years, we are happy that we have
been able to reward Bosch and its staff and customers with
results that have been second to none over that period.
“2007 offers plenty of challenges for everyone as the V8
Supercar Series becomes more and more competitive, but we
believe Stone Brothers Racing is up to the task with the
support of valuable financial and technical partners like
Bosch.”
