Another top 3 sweep for Bosch Spark Plugs

Bridgestone/Ford Championship Car World Series: Canadian Paul Tracy drove away with the Molson Indy victory on Sunday July 13. It was his first win on the streets of his hometown of Toronto, Canada. Driving a Bosch spark plug equipped Player's Forsythe Racing Lola Ford Cosworth, Tracy won by over four seconds. Bruno Junqueira finished third for Newsman-Haas Racing and Michel Jourdain Jr. finished second. All winners were using Bosch spark plugs.

More winners with Bosch plugs

Toyota Atlantic Championship Series: A.J. Allmendinger won for a consecutive time in the Toyota Atlantic Championship Series. Run in Toronto, Canada on July 12 the race was part of the Molson Indy weekend of racing. Allmendinger, who was driving a Bosch spark plug equipped Rusport Swift Toyota, won Round 7 of the 12 race series. Aaron Justus, driving another Rusport entry, finished second in Toronto while Jonathan Macri took third place.

 

Seven IRL victories for Bosch

Firestone Indy 200: Gil de Ferran scored his second victory of the IndyCar Series in his Bosch-sparked Marlboro Team Penske Lola Toyota by winning the Firestone Indy 200. De Ferran's win gives Bosch seven IRL victories for the season. Polesitter Scott Dixon finished second in a Panoz G Force Toyota while de Ferran's teammate, Helio Castroneves, took third in a Team Penske entry.
