Ryan Hunter-Reay won the Lexmark Indy 300 in Surfers Paradise last weekend, where a record crowd of 108,000 watched the exciting race in rain and hailstorms..

Hunter-Reay sets a CART record by being the 13th different winner in as many years at a single venue. Both he and second place getter Darren Manning are also rookies - and the first two who've finished so well in a Champ Car race since 1983.
